SSBL Milwaukee

SSBL Milwaukee is an inclusive softball league serving players in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Founded in 1977, the organization celebrates its 50th season in 2026 and welcomes adults aged 18 and older across gender identities, sexual orientations, and skill levels. Its community brings together players, umpires, coaches, and fans, with opportunities for competitive, intermediate, and recreational participation.

The league offers seasonal softball, including a six-week Fall Ball program held on Thursday nights from September through October. Fall Ball registration is open to free agents, who are placed on teams; the $35 fee includes a team jersey. SSBL Milwaukee also provides resources for players, schedules and events, tournament information, jersey reservations, rules and frequently asked questions, and forms for ethics reviews and player injury prevention requests.

People interested in officiating can take part in free umpire training, with virtual instruction and on-field experience during games. With a history rooted in inclusive community sport and a focus on welcoming new and returning members, SSBL Milwaukee connects people through softball while building toward its future.
