Stepping Stone Charitable Society is an Indian nonprofit organisation dedicated to supporting marginalized communities and helping people overcome poverty. For over 30 years, it has worked to restore dignity, build hope, and expand opportunities for children, families, and older people. Its approach combines practical assistance with long-term community support, delivered through projects in different locations and circumstances across India.

The society’s work includes education, healthcare, nutrition, food assistance, shelter, and elderly care. Its initiatives include Asha, which provides compassionate support and care; Jyoti, launched in 1996 to help people affected by poverty; Anugrah, serving communities in Nashik’s slums; Pragati, an education-focused project; Project Hope, which promotes dignity and opportunity; Krupa, a home for elderly people in Nashik; and Karuna, a healthcare initiative. The organisation also supports feeding programmes for children and older people, nutrition for families affected by HIV, and school meals. Stepping Stone invites individuals and organisations to contribute through donations, volunteering, and partnerships, helping turn food into hope, education into opportunity, and care into lasting change.
