SSD Volare

SSD Volare is a non-profit amateur sports association dedicated to promoting wheelchair tennis and the broader role of sport in inclusion, personal growth, and shared experiences. Founded on the belief that sport can change lives, the organization brings together athletes, families, and sports organizations across Italy. Since 2007, Volare has organized events, training camps, and tournaments, supporting people who want to discover wheelchair tennis, build confidence, and take on new challenges. Its work is inspired by a philosophy of recognizing possibilities and turning obstacles into opportunities.

The association’s flagship event is the Trofeo della Mole, an international wheelchair tennis tournament held in Turin. Now in its 18th edition, the 2026 tournament is scheduled for July 22–26 at Circolo della Stampa Sporting. It has achieved ITF 3 status and offers €14,000 in total prize money. Organized with the International Tennis Federation and the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation, the event welcomes leading players and promotes high-level competition and sportsmanship. Volare also shares interviews and information through its international and regional platforms.
