About SS HANDART
SS Handcrafted Art is a family-owned brand that has been in the business for over 20 years. They started with a single artisan family in Ecuador, and have now expanded to work with over 25 talented artisans. Their mission is to bring the beautiful marble work created by these artisans to locations around the world.
The brand was founded by Turtle Joe, a Miami native, who stumbled upon the original artisan family during a trip to Ecuador. Inspired by their craftsmanship, he established SS Handcrafted Art and later founded the Turtleman Foundation, fulfilling his lifelong dream of giving back to the oceans and sea turtles. With their two children, Ananda and Anthony, SS Handcrafted Art remains a family-run business.
You can often find Turtle Jr or Ana Turtle at trade shows, representing the brand and sharing their family values. Explore their collection of handcrafted art and support their movement in preserving the beauty of the oceans and empowering artisan communities. Stay updated on their new products and catalogs by following their journey.
