Shape Society Health Initiative (SSHI) is a public-health non-profit based in Nigeria that works to improve health outcomes through evidence, innovation, training, and community action. It partners with communities, researchers, and policymakers to support healthier, more resilient societies, with a focus on education, collaboration, and community-centred interventions led by young health professionals.

SSHI runs programmes across nine regions, reaching more than 5,000 community members through medical screening, health education, training, and outreach. Its work also includes policy advocacy and evidence-based research. The organisation’s flagship Health Research Fellowship Programme supports early-career researchers investigating a range of health issues, and SSHI has awarded more than 200 research fellowships.

Alongside its programmes, SSHI shares research and publications, hosts events, and offers opportunities for people to get involved or support its work through donations. Its stated aim is to foster positive health change by connecting research with practical community needs.
