SSK Nivnice

SSK Nivnice is a sports shooting club based in Nivnice, in the Uherské Hradiště district of the Czech Republic. Established in 1991, the club focuses on training young people and helping them develop their skills in competitive rifle shooting. Members practise with air rifles and small-bore rifles, with air-rifle training in winter and small-bore training in summer. Sessions are held twice a week, and the club welcomes girls and boys, including beginners; it notes that ages nine to ten are an ideal time to start.

The club competes in local, regional and national events, including the Czech Cup and Czech Youth Cup, and its shooters are regularly selected for the Czech Championships. SSK Nivnice also co-organises the Zlín Region youth shooting league for participants up to age fourteen. Its athletes have earned medals and personal records across individual and team competitions. With 42 members, including 23 aged under 21, the club offers a community setting for learning and pursuing the individual sport of shooting.
