SSLDF, established in Sierra Leone in 1996, is a dedicated non-governmental organization focused on enhancing community wellbeing through health, education, relief, and agricultural initiatives. With a commitment to grassroots development, SSLDF plays a vital role in addressing the needs of communities that have endured significant hardships.

At the forefront of their health initiatives is the Magbenteh Community Hospital, which offers quality medical care, particularly for under-fives, free of charge. This is especially crucial in a country with high infant mortality rates. Additionally, the organization runs the Magbenteh Community Boarding School, providing education, feeding, and accommodation for children affected by epidemics like Ebola. This program alleviates financial burdens on guardians and fosters a sense of value and opportunity among the youth.

Through its diverse team and core values of Love, Serve, Integrity, and Excellence, SSLDF continues to champion the cause of improving the lives of Sierra Leone's most vulnerable populations, working tirelessly towards a brighter, healthier future.
