The Slovak Speleological Society (Slovenská speleologická spoločnosť - SSS) is a dedicated professional association focused on the study and conservation of caves and karst landscapes throughout Slovakia. The SSS actively engages its members in cave exploration and research, adhering to their statutes and relevant legal regulations. Its core missions include environmental protection and education, making significant contributions to ecology and public awareness regarding natural heritage.

The organization hosts a variety of events designed to foster interest in speleology, such as the annual Speleomiting and the Speleo School, where participants learn about cave formation, conservation, safety practices, and the broader implications of speleological activities. Additionally, the SSS plays a crucial role in documenting caves and karst phenomena to ensure continued appreciation and preservation.

Serving as a hub for several local speleological clubs, the SSS collaborates with multiple organizations to promote sustainable tourism and the scientific community's engagement in geology and environmental studies, thereby enriching Slovakia's cultural and natural landscape.
