Seniors' Serving Seniors Victoria

Seniors Serving Seniors of BC is an inclusive, not-for-profit volunteer organization supporting the quality of life and well-being of seniors from diverse communities in Greater Victoria, British Columbia. It connects older adults, their families, and healthcare professionals with practical information and community resources through several services.

Its Seniors’ Services Directory is a user-friendly guide featuring more than 500 listings of services for seniors. The organization also offers the Return to Health program, where trained volunteers provide social support, encouragement, and connections to other community resources. Volunteers receive specialized training in intercultural and gender awareness, seniors’ issues, communication, and the aging process.

Through Seniors Link, specially trained volunteer referral agents draw on their knowledge of local services and seniors’ issues to direct callers to non-medical emergency resources and offer support with everyday problems. The Seniors Link phone line is open Monday through Thursday, and the organization also welcomes volunteers, members, partners, funders, and donations.
