STAAR is a unique and boutique-style conference catering to veterinarians and animal rehabilitation professionals. Our mission is to provide the most advanced courses in rehabilitative medicine, taught by industry leaders and pioneers in the field. With a focus on practical experience, we offer hands-on workshops that allow participants to practice newly learned skills on live animals, including dogs with DM and cruciate insufficiency.

We have an extensive network of animal volunteers, including performance/competition and service animals, as well as family pets with relevant injuries or disorders. What differentiates STAAR from other conferences is our personalized approach. Participants can choose workshops that best suit their needs and schedule, without having to register for the entire conference.

Our workshops are limited to 20 participants, ensuring an intimate and highly-focused learning environment with plenty of personal attention. We also prioritize independent and balanced activities, free from commercial bias. At STAAR, we value feedback and open communication, design our conference to meet participants' needs, and strive to create a nurturing and welcoming environment.
