Stackdown

Stackdown is a free daily word puzzle that combines the layered strategy of Mahjong Solitaire with the challenge of finding hidden words. Its letter tiles form a diamond-shaped stack, and players tap only tiles that are exposed at the top. Each puzzle contains six five-letter words, which must be found in order to clear the stack and reveal the letters beneath. At each stage, only one correct word can be formed.

Players can undo tile selections, while incorrect five-letter combinations return automatically to the stack. For extra help, a “Swipe to Reveal” hint feature offers clues, though each hint used reduces the puzzle’s star score. Every puzzle begins with five stars, with a minimum score of one.

Stackdown provides a new daily puzzle at midnight in the player’s local time, as well as an archive of past puzzles and an unlimited mode with random games. The brand also offers mobile apps on the App Store and Google Play, featuring daily puzzles, streaks, and unlimited play.
