About STADA Kenya
Stada Kenya, also known as Stawisha Dada, is a feminist human rights organization based in Kisumu County. Established in 2020, Stada works tirelessly to advance the rights of women and girls and promote the overall health and well-being of all individuals. They utilize community-based methodologies to address issues of gender equality, gender-based violence, and health disparities.
Through evidence-based advocacy, community empowerment, capacity building, and collaboration, Stada promotes community health, gender equality, education, and human rights. Their impactful programs include Universal Access to Healthcare, Feminist Movement Building, Gender Based Violence, Water Sanitation and Hygiene, Sanitary Towels Production, and Keeping Girls in School. With a dedicated team and grassroots approach, Stada is committed to creating a society where girls and women have access to all basic rights and freedoms.
