Stadlbauernhof is a family-run farm and visitor destination in Eglersried, near Markt Indersdorf in Bavaria’s Dachau region. The Demmelmeier family represents the fifth generation to manage the farm, where three generations live and work. The farm combines conventional cultivation of its fields with extensive use of its grassland, and emphasizes caring, appropriate animal husbandry.
Visitors can meet horses, ponies, rabbits and chickens through family farm visits, children’s activities and educational programs. Services include farm visits for families, learning days for school classes, activity days and children’s birthday celebrations. These experiences give visitors opportunities to learn about farm life through hands-on activities.
Stadlbauernhof also offers horse boarding in group open-stall accommodation, where mares and geldings can stay together and spend time in a spacious, reinforced outdoor area. Seasonal events and activities provide additional ways to experience the farm. Located at Eglersried 4, the farm welcomes guests seeking educational visits, celebrations or horse accommodation in a rural setting
