The St. Albert Food Bank & Community Village (SAFBCV) has been a vital support system for the St. Albert community since 1984, dedicated to delivering emergency nutritional assistance and fostering independence for its residents. As a non-profit organization, SAFBCV focuses on empowering disadvantaged individuals through a variety of essential programs and services aimed at enhancing personal safety and improving overall quality of life.

Among its offerings, the organization provides food hampers, a Community Kitchen for cultural meals, a Free Income Tax Program, and a Tools for School initiative, all designed to address specific community needs. SAFBCV also extends its reach through partnerships with over 20 local organizations, facilitating access to social work services, advocacy for applications like AISH and CPP, and support for building employability skills, such as résumé development and interview coaching.
