Stal de Bosrank is a family-run pony breeding stable based in Helden-Grashoek, the Netherlands, with a history spanning around 40 years. The stable began with a single pony and later focused on ponies with pedigrees, joining the Dutch Shetland Pony Studbook (N. S.
P. S. ) and taking part in breed inspections.
Since restarting its breeding programme with Wendy van Stal ’t Hurkske in 1984, the stable has achieved good results at inspections; Wendy has since become Crown Preferent. Today, Stal de Bosrank keeps around 20 ponies and two stallions: Lucky Boy van de Bosrank, a second-premium stallion, and O. Neil L.
H., approved with a premium in 2003. The stable emphasizes strong bloodlines and considers sound legs and good conformation important qualities in its breeding choices. Its website shares news and information about its stallions, mares, and young ponies, and includes a section for ponies for sale.
