Stald Ulbæk is an Icelandic horse stud farm in Feldballe, in Denmark’s Mols Bjerge National Park, about 40 minutes from Aarhus. The family-run business breeds, trains, and sells Icelandic horses for competition, breeding, and leisure riding. Anna Ulbæk leads the work with the horses, supported by her family. A veterinarian and B-instructor under the Danish Icelandic Horse Association, she has worked with the breed since childhood and has competed in numerous events, including Nordic Championships.
The farm breeds five to six foals each year in Denmark and Iceland, using mares assessed in first class, and offers stallion services during the breeding season. Its breeding goal is to produce cooperative horses with expressive, spacious movement. Horses are trained with an emphasis on confidence, rideability, and welfare, and the sales selection ranges from competition prospects to riding horses. Stald Ulbæk also helps customers find suitable horses through its network. Additional services include riding instruction, courses, horse boarding, and arena rental.
