About Staletá Praha
Staletá Praha is a scholarly journal dedicated to Prague’s national cultural heritage, heritage preservation, archaeology, and art history. Published since 1965, it provides a forum for research and discussion on the city’s historic places, cultural legacy, and artistic past. The journal is issued twice a year by the National Heritage Institute, a state-funded organization, through its regional specialist workplace in Prague.
In 2009, the current journal continued the tradition of earlier Staletá Praha volumes, which appeared at varying intervals from 1965 to 2003. Its editorial framework includes guidance for authors and reviewers, publication ethics, citation standards, and information about the journal’s structure and editorial board. Staletá Praha is listed in academic databases and indexes including Scopus, EBSCO, and ERIH PLUS, and is also included on the Czech list of peer-reviewed non-impact journals.
It is available in print and online, with separate ISSN identifiers for each format, and uses the Actavia peer-review management and editorial system
