Stal Koorman is a horse-training and breaking-in stable based in Slagharen, the Netherlands, where the horse’s welfare and confidence come first. With more than 25 years of experience, Herman Koorman and his team prepare horses for riding and develop their training in a calm, suitable environment, taking the time each horse needs.
Services include starting young horses under saddle, further training and schooling, and working with horses that need correction or extra support. Stal Koorman can also help owners bring horses into sport. The stable works with the KWPN on EPTM tests, preparing and riding mares while their character is assessed, and presents horses for auctions, including ESHA, where riding and video presentation contribute to their promotion.
Owners are welcome to visit by appointment and follow their horse’s progress, with video recording permitted. Stal Koorman also reports that its facility is inspected annually by the Stichting Veilige Paardensport and received a safety certificate in 2023. The stable is located on Moeshoekweg in Slagharen.
