– Stall Hansen

Stall Hansen is a Holsteiner sport-horse breeding operation run by Jan and Janna Hansen in Twedt, in the Angeln region of Schleswig-Holstein near the Schlei. Combining enthusiasm with a considered approach to breeding, the couple describe their work as an ambitious hobby enterprise. Their aim is to breed healthy, successful sport horses with clear minds and strong nerves.

The foundation of the program is a group of broodmares chosen for their own sporting achievements and their ability to produce promising sport horses. Each year, Stall Hansen considers suitable pairings, selects stallions and decides which mare will be bred to each one. The resulting young horses, along with the breeding mares and the operation’s sporting and breeding successes, are presented on the website.

Stall Hansen also shares information about horses offered for sale and invites visitors to explore the stable and learn about its work. The site provides an introduction to the Hansen family’s Holsteiner breeding interests and offers a way to get in touch.
