Stal Rijken is a horse breeding and training business based in Lelystad, the Netherlands. The company focuses on breeding and preparing horses for show jumping, with animals sold to buyers around the world, including in Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East. Its facility is located on Meeuwenweg in central Netherlands, within reach of Schiphol Airport.
The breeding program produces around eight foals each year, all from proven mare lines. Young horses are given time to grow and develop before being prepared for the show-jumping sport from the age of four. Stal Rijken’s stated aim is to breed horses that are both suited to sport and comfortable to ride. Its website presents horses at different stages, including foals, yearlings, two-year-olds and older horses, as well as broodmares and expected foals. It also features sport horses and references. Prospective buyers and others interested in the horses can contact the business directly for further information.
