R Initiative is a youth-led social enterprise dedicated to advocating against sexual violence and supporting survivors with comprehensive psychosocial services. Our mission is to create a safe and inclusive society in Nigeria that stands against rape, supports survivors, and holds perpetrators accountable. We have made significant strides in the fight against sexual violence, providing support and counseling to numerous survivors, facilitating the prosecution of perpetrators, and advocating for policies that protect survivors' rights.

Our multifaceted approach includes awareness campaigns, policy advocacy, accountability efforts, and prevention programs. Through sensitization campaigns, workshops, and seminars, we raise awareness about consent, rape prevention, and the importance of reporting cases of sexual violence. We also engage with relevant stakeholders to push for legislation that strengthens the justice system and ensures comprehensive support services for survivors.

Moreover, we work towards prevention by challenging harmful cultural norms and providing training to educators, parents, and community leaders. We also run a 24/7 confidential hotline and offer counseling services, medical referrals, and collaborate with partner organizations to ensure survivors have access to comprehensive care.
