Founded by two dedicated Malaysian women, this organization began as a movement during the 16-Days of Activism in 2018 and has since grown into a registered organization under the Registrar of Societies.

The core objective of StandUp Malaysia is to educate and raise awareness about sexual and gender-based violence among women and girls in Malaysia. They achieve this through civic engagement, workshops, and compelling social media content.

Their mission is to empower women and girls to stand up and fight against any form of violence, creating a safer world where they can live without fear or prejudice.
