Star Agent is an open-source spaceflight experiment developed by a community of contributors and coding agents. Designed to run in a browser, it invites players to explore a growing, seamless universe while helping shape the project’s development. Players can fly solo without an account, choosing ships and locations, using developer tools, and saving progress in their browser. An early multiplayer alpha supports up to 20 pilots, with account-based access and a shared server for testing emerging features.

The experience spans spaceflight, planetary exploration, walkable ships, and developing systems such as mining and base building. Star Agent also hosts Wing Commander III: Reimagined, a free, non-profit fan mod in development, featuring ship and environment showcases; playable missions are still in progress. The project welcomes players and contributors to explore the source, report bugs, and improve ships, landscapes, or systems. It works best on a desktop or laptop with a modern browser and WebGL 2, and supports keyboard, mouse, and standard controllers.
