Starboard Staffing

Starboard Staffing & Estate Services is a boutique, private, referral-based placement agency serving families, private estates, family offices, executive households, and luxury brands. Formerly known as Hire Society, the agency was founded in 2012 and retains the same team and values under its new name. It serves clients in New York, the Hamptons, Palm Beach, Los Angeles, and beyond.

The agency places professionals for private homes and estates, executive and family offices, and luxury brand roles. Searches are tailored to each household or organization, with attention to the role, setting, standards, and needs of the people involved. Starboard emphasizes curated introductions rather than bulk résumé submissions, and its team draws on firsthand experience in roles such as personal assistant, estate manager, butler, and nanny. The agency also offers household consulting, assessing existing staff and structures and advising on changes when a new hire is not the right solution. Its process includes a dedicated client contact, transparent communication, and thorough candidate vetting, including personal reference conversations.
