The Old Cordons is an online fishing community focused on angling in Russia’s Kaliningrad region and beyond. Its forums bring together recreational fishers and boating enthusiasts to share reports, advice, local knowledge, and plans for trips with fellow members. Discussions cover fishing in the Baltic Sea and along the coast, as well as in regional rivers, lakes, and lagoons, with dedicated sections for freshwater, sea, carp, fly, and ice fishing.

Members exchange information about fishing locations, target species, seasonal conditions, equipment, bait, lures, and techniques. The site also hosts conversations about boats, motors, navigation, sonar, communications equipment, maintenance, and relevant boating regulations. Beyond practical advice, the community features fishing reports, competition coverage, announcements, member celebrations, photography, and general discussion.

Its classified section lets users buy, sell, exchange, or give away fishing gear, while a forum for local tackle shops supports discussion of products, prices, and recommendations. The Old Cordons serves as a peer-to-peer resource and gathering place for people interested in fishing and boating
