Starla’s Cats is a small, home-based cattery in the Dallas–Fort Worth area of Texas, run by Starla and Paul Harrison. The TICA-registered breeder specializes in Scottish Fold and Scottish Straight kittens, offering a variety of colors and patterns. Cats and kittens live with the family rather than in a separate cattery, and the kittens are raised in a clean home environment with frequent human interaction and playtime.
The cattery prioritizes health, temperament, and careful placement. Its breeding cats are described as FeLV- and FIV-negative and PKD-free through DNA testing, with lines from reputable breeders and a broad genetic base that includes imported cats. Before adoption, kittens are examined by a licensed veterinarian, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, are spayed or neutered, and are microchipped. Each placement includes health records, a written sales contract, and a health guarantee. Kittens are placed no earlier than twelve weeks of age and only with families in the United States. Starla’s Cats also shares information about Scottish Fold cats and TICA cat shows.
