About Starlight Kitforge
Starlight Kitforge is a project by Mario Roberti, presented through a public notebook documenting his work in game development and programmable lighting. The site brings together three main areas of interest: hex-based worlds built in Godot, science-fiction tactical gameplay, and the Starlight Kitforge lighting project. Its Hexmap Worlds series explores terrain, pathfinding, tactical maps, and world-building on a grid.
Interstellar Warfare focuses on sci-fi combat, ship design, tactical gameplay, and the settings where strategy meets space. Starlight Kitforge is described as a modular, programmable lighting system, with notes covering hardware, build logs, LED experiments, and related development. Rather than presenting a broad catalogue or a formal range of commercial services, the site functions as a record of ideas, experiments, and projects in progress.
Readers can browse the individual series, learn more about Mario, or follow the blog for updates. Overall, Starlight Kitforge connects hands-on lighting experimentation with Mario’s wider creative work in game design and world-building
