Riko's Pizza is a newly established brand in the Wilmington area, having recently opened its first North Carolina location in October at the Proximity mixed-use development in Carolina Beach. Originating from Connecticut, Riko's Pizza is known for its ultra-thin tavern-style pizza, setting it apart in a region already rich with New York, Detroit, and New Haven styles. As part of a vibrant culinary community, Riko's joins other notable eateries like K38 Baja Grill, Drift Coffee & Kitchen, and Boombalatti's Handcrafted Ice Cream at its location on Lake Park Boulevard.

With a successful track record and a growing presence—now boasting 10 locations mostly in the Northeast—the brand has ambitious plans for future expansion throughout North Carolina. Riko's Pizza not only aims to serve deliciously crafted pizza but also contributes to enhancing the local dining scene by delivering a unique take on this beloved classic. Expect to see more Riko's locations opening soon, bringing their distinct flavors to a broader audience
