Star Point Counseling is a behavioral and emotional health counseling practice serving individuals, couples, and families across Northern Virginia. With offices in Alexandria and Annandale, the practice offers compassionate, individualized care to support clients through change, healing, and personal growth. Appointments are available in person, subject to clinician availability and clinical judgment, as well as by telehealth.

Individual counseling can address concerns including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, family-of-origin issues, trauma, and ADD/HD. Couples and family services support communication, relationship patterns, premarital exploration, and parenting concerns. The practice also provides supportive substance-use counseling for people already in recovery, along with assessments and referrals for primary or acute treatment. Support is available to significant others, too.

Star Point Counseling offers consulting, training, and retreats for community groups and businesses, with topics such as team building, stress management, self-care, mindfulness, conflict resolution, parenting, and communication. Event fees are negotiable, and discounts are available to 501(c)(3) organizations. Sliding-scale fees are noted among the practice’s offerings.
