The African STARS Fellowship Programme is a transformative initiative aimed at fostering the next generation of leaders, scientists, and healthcare professionals in Africa. Recognizing the continent's rapidly growing youth population and the pressing need for employment opportunities, the program focuses on building capacity through advanced training in key areas such as genomics, diagnostics, and vaccine design. Additionally, participants can pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Healthcare Leadership or a Master in Bioinformatics of Infectious Disease, both designed to equip graduates with essential skills to address future health challenges. By collaborating with leading research institutions such as Stellenbosch University and Institut Pasteur de Dakar, the programme aims to enhance Africa's scientific capabilities and retention of skilled professionals in the health sector
