Star Sure Start

Star Sure Start Banbridge is a family support service helping expectant parents and families with children under four to give children the best possible start in life. Serving families within its catchment area, the organisation offers free, confidential support from pregnancy until a child starts school. Services are delivered through home visits and small-group programmes, with activities and guidance tailored to the needs of parents, babies and toddlers.

Its programmes support children’s learning, health and well-being, social development, and emotional skills. Star Sure Start also helps families find advice and connect with local services when they have questions or need support with special needs or other challenges. Parents and carers can explore information for pregnancy, babies aged 0–2, toddlers aged 2–4, and family life, as well as browse a monthly calendar of events and programmes.

Based in Banbridge, Star Sure Start provides information about registering for services and whether a family’s postcode falls within its service area.
