Start Volleyball

Start Volleyball LLC introduces children to beginner-level volleyball through programs held at neighborhood elementary and middle schools. The organization presents itself as a first point of contact with the sport, welcoming young players who are ready to learn its fundamentals and experience playing as a team. Its name highlights the values it aims to encourage: being strong, positive, outgoing, respectful, and a good teammate.

Programs are arranged at local schools to make participation convenient for families and avoid the need to transport children to a separate venue. Sessions are scheduled to leave room for homework and other after-school activities. Start Volleyball describes volleyball as a team sport without direct player contact, and notes its potential to build lean muscle, character, and team values. The program offers children an opportunity to get a first taste of the game in an accessible setting, whether or not they choose to pursue it further. Families can contact Start Volleyball by email at [email protected] or by phone at 858-405-3259 for information about its offerings.
