Start9 is a brand that is dedicated to the concept of sovereign computing, with a mission to empower individuals and protect their fundamental rights to privacy and free speech. They believe that centralized systems breed dependency and corruption, which is why they advocate for a decentralized model where individuals have absolute control over their data and communications. Start9 offers a range of products and services to achieve this vision.

They have servers and gear, designed to provide robustness and soundness guarantees through a decentralized approach. They also provide support and documentation to help users navigate the transition towards a more independent and secure personal computing environment. What sets Start9 apart is their strong set of values and virtues.

They prioritize decentralization, openness, community, privacy, and independence in all aspects of their brand. They value audacity, tenacity, excellence, courtesy, generosity, fortitude, and integrity as the qualities necessary to achieve their mission. Start9's origin story is rooted in the phenomenon of Twitch Plays Pokemon, where collaborative gameplay highlighted the need for effective protest.

Participants discovered the command start9 as a means of fighting back against the suffocating control of colluding groups in democracy mode, ultimately symbolizing the battle cry of the individual. With Start9, you can take control of your computing experience and contribute to building a free future. Join the revolution today
