Starthaus Sportshop & Skiverleih

STARTHAUS Oberwiesenthal is a winter sports rental shop, sports retailer and ski school located at Vierenstraße 8, directly beside the slopes at the Fichtelberg ski area in Oberwiesenthal. The business provides ski and snowboard hire, seasonal ski rentals, sledges, cross-country equipment and snowshoes. Rental gear is regularly maintained and safety-checked, and customers can book online for a discount of up to 10 percent, with free cancellation until 11:59 p.m. on the day before the booking.

The STARTHAUS sports shop sells clothing, footwear and accessories for outdoor conditions, including jackets, trousers, boots, hats, backpacks, helmets, goggles, gloves and beanies. On-site services also include ski servicing and equipment storage. For lessons, STARTHAUS works with Skischule Fichtelberg, whose dedicated practice area complements the shop’s location beside the piste. The business also offers summer and outdoor activities, with customer reviews mentioning E-bike and child-carrier rentals. With rental, retail and services under one roof, STARTHAUS helps visitors prepare for time on the slopes and outdoors throughout the year.
