Das Stasi-Museum befindet sich im Haus 1 auf dem ehemaligen Gelände der Zentrale des Ministeriums für Staatssicherheit (MfS) der DDR. Zu besichtigen ist die neue Ausstellung "Staatssicherheit in der SED-Diktatur". Auf drei Etagen können Sie sich über die Entwicklung, die Funktion und die Arbeitsweise der Staatssicherheit informieren. Zahlreiche Objekte aus unserer Sammlung und viele Medienstationen veranschaulichen dabei das Ausmaß des Wirkens des MfS.

About Stasimuseum
Stasimuseum Berlin is located in House 1 on the former grounds of the Ministry for State Security (MfS) of the German Democratic Republic (DDR). Our museum offers the opportunity to explore the new exhibition State Security in the SED Dictatorship. Spread across three floors, visitors can learn about the development, function, and methods of operation of the State Security.
Our extensive collection of artifacts and numerous media stations illustrate the extent of the MfS' activities. We are delighted to welcome you to Stasimuseum Berlin! For individual visitors, we offer guided tours of the exhibition on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The tours are available in both German (starting at 13:00) and English (starting at 15:00).
