Stichting StaSterk is a Dutch organisation that has provided self-defence and resilience training since 2001. Based in Amsterdam, it offers group courses, workshops and individual training for women and girls, with sessions available across the North Holland region on request. Its approach goes beyond teaching physical self-defence techniques: the courses also focus on resilience and assertiveness, helping participants develop a broader understanding of how to respond to challenging situations.
Training is delivered by female instructors who are qualified and recognised by the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS). Through its programmes, StaSterk aims to help women and girls build skills and confidence that extend beyond self-defence alone.
