Statement Pieces is a design and interiors brand specializing in antiques, vintage design, distinctive objects from the 19th and 20th centuries, and contemporary art. Its collection brings together individual pieces with history and character, selected to add personality to a home. The range includes mirrors, campaign chests and other storage furniture, tables, lighting, and art prints, alongside sculptural and unusual objects. The brand’s aesthetic blends influences from Amsterdam canal houses, English country homes, industrial lofts, and Côte d’Azur glamour to create an eclectic, comfortable mix.
Founded by Vincent van Aarle, whose background includes hospitality and the wine trade, Statement Pieces grew from a passion for interiors and rare, singular finds. The brand is based in Bussum, where its collection is displayed in a characterful former coach house showroom. Visitors can arrange an appointment to see pieces in person. Statement Pieces also invites customers to get in touch by phone, text, WhatsApp, or email with questions about available items or advice on their interiors. New pieces are shared on Instagram.
