About Stationsweb
Stationsweb is a unique and informative brand dedicated to documenting the rich history of train stations and railway lines in the Netherlands. Founded by Roef Ankersmit, who captured over 30,000 photographs of train stations, the brand provides an exceptional visual archive that serves not only enthusiasts but also historians and the general public interested in railway heritage. The platform offers an advanced railway map featuring detailed information about train lines, a timeline of historical developments, and specific types of stations.
Users can plan their journeys using the integrated travel planner and stay updated with the latest news in the world of Dutch railways. With ongoing projects to enhance and verify railway information, Stationsweb collaborates with noted railway historian J. G.
C. By accessing various resources, including an FAQ section and a guestbook, visitors can engage deeply with the fascinating world of Dutch rail travel and its storied past
