About Firstlighthouse
The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich maritime heritage of the Nation’s Oldest Port®. Nestled in St. Augustine, Florida, this historic site, featuring the iconic 1874 lighthouse, offers visitors an immersive experience through its extensive programs and exhibits. Guests can explore the museum’s permanent and digital collections, engage in hands-on activities, and take part in educational initiatives that highlight maritime history, archaeology, and conservation.
The museum features daily programs, nature trails, and summer camps, as well as Heritage Boatworks for those interested in traditional wooden boatbuilding.
