Stay Connected Activity Centre is a dedicated dementia and memory loss activity centre in Port Stephens, New South Wales. It supports people living with dementia, memory loss or other cognitive conditions to maintain mental, social and emotional connections, while offering carers practical respite. The centre operates Monday to Friday and provides stimulating, enjoyable activities tailored to each client’s needs in a safe, supervised setting.
Its programme includes creative activities, special events, organised outings and use of a Taferteli “Magic” Table. A specialised bus helps clients travel to the centre and take part in outings, supporting independence and social engagement. Staff get to know clients and families so activities can be suited to individual needs; participation is encouraged but not required.
The centre also welcomes older people seeking opportunities to stay socially active. Services are available to private clients and people using eligible Home Care or NDIS packages, with staff able to discuss access options
