Steadycare

Steady Care Australia is a registered NDIS provider supporting people at home and in the community. Supporting people since 2019, the organisation is autistic-led, with lived experience informing its approach. It welcomes people with different disabilities, support needs and ways of living, including autistic people and people with intellectual and cognitive, physical or psychosocial disabilities. Support is shaped around each person’s routines, preferences, communication, interests and boundaries.

Its support worker services include daily living assistance, such as help with meals, personal care, household tasks and everyday routines, as well as community access and participation for activities, appointments, errands and social plans. Steady Care also offers support coordination and psychosocial recovery coaching, helping people make sense of their NDIS plans, consider providers and connect with services. Behaviour support plans are among its areas of support.

The organisation says it prepares workers for agreed tasks and provides a clear point of contact once support begins. Individuals can enquire for themselves or, with consent, on behalf of someone else.
