Steady Company is a traditional country western band hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana, known for crafting music that takes listeners back to the iconic golden era of country. The band's name pays homage to a classic Hank Williams Sr. With a style that encourages couples to glide across well-worn dance floors, their live performances capture the essence of nostalgia and warmth reminiscent of old vinyl records.
Their debut album, 'Diamond for a Dime,' showcases their original songs and was recorded at The Bomb Shelter in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition, their live videos, produced at Cedar Creek Studio in Austin, Texas, illustrate their dynamic presence. The band, featuring talented songwriters Arden MacDonald and Tennessee Dixon, draws inspiration from Appalachian heritage, Texas Western Swing, and New Orleans R&B, blending elements of gospel, bluegrass, traditional jazz, and blues. Steady Company invites you to experience their music and the rich tradition it represents.
