Stedtener Mühle

The Stedtener Mühle is a historic watermill in Stedten an der Ilm, near Kranichfeld in Thuringia, inviting visitors to discover a site with more than 400 years of history. Visitors can explore the mill’s exhibition and view an aquarium installation built into the millrace wall. A 360-degree virtual tour also offers a way to look around the mill remotely.

The mill’s farm shop focuses on regional fish, with live and freshly prepared fish alongside smoked and marinated varieties. Customers can also contact the mill by phone, email or contact form to make enquiries and place advance orders. The shop is open on Wednesdays and Fridays from 5 to 7 p.m., as well as by arrangement; special holiday hours are listed by the business.

Stedtener Mühle also offers courses and permits related to fishing, including fishing licence courses and fishing permits. In addition, it provides French and Spanish language courses.
