About Steerfornewborn
Steer for Change Mother & Newborn is a brand that aims to promote the good health and well-being of pregnant women and babies in underserved communities across Nigeria. Founded in 2019 by Kikelomo Adisa, who was inspired by her own experience of almost losing her son, the organization provides access to adequate medical care, knowledge, and resources to prevent maternal and infant mortality.
Through their medical outreaches and malnutrition intervention programs, Steer for Change Mother & Newborn has impacted over 1,000 pregnant women and nursing mothers/babies to date. Their vision is to eradicate maternal and infant mortality in underserved communities in Nigeria.
The brand recognizes the increasing need for affordable care and essential resources for mothers and babies, with the goal of preventing unnecessary deaths. By providing education and training to women and community stakeholders, Steer for Change aims to reduce and eventually eliminate maternal and infant loss in Nigeria.
