Steering Streamline Bus

Streamline Transit provides zero-fare bus service for the Bozeman community and surrounding Gallatin Valley, helping people travel to work, medical appointments, school, stores, and other destinations. The service benefits both riders and the wider community by helping reduce traffic congestion and pressure on parking.

Streamline is updating its Transit Development Plan, a 10-year vision for evaluating current service, identifying opportunities for improvement, and planning better bus service. The previous plan, Redesign Streamline 2020, was developed during the COVID-19 pandemic, before travel patterns and the rapidly growing valley had fully changed. Its recommendations introduced the Blueline, Goldline, Purpleline, Brownline, and Pinkline, along with more convenient weekend service. The plan was recognized in Bozeman’s Choice Reader Poll as the Best Use of Taxpayer Dollars.

For the 2025 plan, Streamline is seeking community feedback through a proposed-routes survey and StoryMap. Residents can also review the 2020 plan and sign up for the newsletter to follow the planning process and future service improvements.
