Steil Landschaftsplanung

Steil Landschaftsplanung is a planning office specializing in landscape planning and engineering ecology. Led by Julia Steil, who holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Planning and Engineering Ecology, the practice provides nature-conservation expertise for a range of projects. Its services include preparing required landscape-planning reports and assessments, conducting surveys and mapping, evaluating project impacts, and recommending or implementing compensatory measures where needed. The office has particular expertise in species-protection assessments.

Steil Landschaftsplanung aims to develop practical solutions that can gain consensus among clients, project partners, and people affected by planning decisions. The team also helps mediate between differing interests and seeks to incorporate nature-conservation considerations early in the planning process. This approach can help integrate plants, wildlife, habitats, and landscapes into projects, avoid impacts, and identify opportunities to improve conditions. Depending on project needs, the practice collaborates with specialists including biologists, landscape architects, surveyors, energy planners, architects, landscape gardeners, and arborists. Steil Landschaftsplanung advises clients on landscape-planning and nature-conservation matters.
