About STEINKIS GROUPE
Steinkis Group is an independent publishing group established in 2011 by Moïse Kissous, specializing in comics, graphic novels, humor books, and youth magazines. With a focus on quality editorial standards, author care, innovation, and close relationships with booksellers, the group encompasses Jungle, Steinkis Editions, Splash!, and Philéas. Jungle, founded in 2003, specializes in youth comics and humor, originally in partnership with Casterman before Steinkis Group acquired full ownership in 2013.
Steinkis Editions, launched in 2011, specializes in graphic novels since 2014, while Philéas, formed in 2019 through the Jungle and Editis collaboration, offers genre comics. Committed to supporting booksellers and promoting works, Steinkis Group initiated the national 48h BD event, uniting 12 publishers and 1500 bookstores in France and Belgium. Embracing innovation, the group invests in Iznéo, a leading French-language digital comics platform.
