STEM IN A BOX is a brand that aims to bridge the gap in education and technology in developing countries. With a focus on Latin America and Africa, they distribute robots made from electric waste and cardboard as a means to provide access to education and technology. Stemming from the founder's personal journey and inspired by her grandmother's resilience and missed opportunities for education, STEM IN A BOX seeks to empower youth and address the issue of illiteracy.

With a dedicated team, their goal is to ensure that fewer girls, like the founder's grandmother, have to wonder what their potential could have been if given the chance to study. STEM IN A BOX was the founder's first foray into Information and Communications Technologies for Development (ICT4D) and has led her to pursue a Master's degree at the ATLAS Institute at the University of Colorado Boulder, specializing in the Design of Technology for Social Impact. With a background in finance and social entrepreneurship, she hopes to combine her passions and expertise to make a lasting impact in the field of ICT4D.
