Stendaler Angelfreunde

Stendaler Angelfreunde RAW e.V. is a small angling club based in Stendal, in the Altmark region of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, and is affiliated with the Landesanglerverband Sachsen-Anhalt. The club brings people together through recreational fishing, community activities, and responsible care for local nature. Its guiding principle is to give back to the waters and fish populations from which anglers benefit, through conservation and habitat maintenance.

The club organizes regular work sessions and fishing events, including management-focused angling and predator-fishing outings, as well as a summer gathering and member meetings. It also offers fishing education and preparation for regional fishing examinations, with courses for fishing licences and youth or coarse-fishing qualifications. Online students can join a practical training day. The club conducts youth activities for members aged 12 and older, introducing young people to community, sport, and environmental stewardship. Beginners can also ask about introductory fishing sessions for younger children. Stendaler Angelfreunde RAW welcomes enquiries from prospective participants and members.
