Stenroth Family Association (Stenroth sukuseura ry) is a Finnish family-history association dedicated to the descendants of Ensign Erik Stenroth (1688–1766) and his wife, Kristina Krook (1708–1788), as well as people connected to the family through marriage or partnership. Founded in Suomenlinna on 10 June 2000, the association works to research the family’s history, preserve its traditions, honour earlier generations, and strengthen a sense of community among relatives. It also supports genealogy, family-association activities, and local heritage work.
Erik and Kristina had four children—Katarina, Henrik, Sara, and Nils—and their descendants are organised into four corresponding family branches. The association provides genealogical information about these branches, membership resources, updates, and opportunities to take part in family gatherings. Its publications include Kivenjuuret magazine, the Intermezzo and Kvartetto publications, a publication series, and articles. Members and visitors can also find family letters, association rules, membership and fee guidance, and information about Stenroth-themed products. The association’s website shares news, research, and ways to join or update contact details.
